Oh i think these two are either going to be amazing, or chaos.
Ok, so nix doesnt exactly shout about her bloodline and little issues but she wont shy away from them and does like to throw them at people who judge her, i see her outright seeking out any other werewolves to try and find out more about them to be able to help them when she leaves school. Add in the fact nix is rather smart, loves a good getting even prank or mischief in general and shes got a protective big sister side to her and these two could get on very well i think.....or.....
Nix is petty, if she offers help and you buff her back she will stop trying to help. She also has wonderful mood wings on a monthly basis as the moon begins to bug her and she does tend to push people away around this time, add in the fact shes pureblood which some people assume makes up a little uppity and if these two struck off on the wrong foot, it could get worse and worse. Either way could work quite well, im open to either

Orrr maybe a little of both?
Rose's favourite kind of troublemaking is a light bit of teasing people. Especially those with "uppity" personalities (see: Draco Malfoy). But I think once she finds out Nix's background and her cause, she may let up a little. Frenemies maybe? Especially if Elias gets involved. I see the two of them being like that sister duo who just tease each other endlessly. It may actually pull Rose away from her favourite subject: her brother, Remus. Which she is sure he would be eternally grateful for. Remus likes to keep their relationship (his and Rose's, I mean) on the down low, which has already caused some issue... and would prefer to probably go unknown, but if Nix gets to know Rose, that's probably going to be Nix's best archway into learning about the 'werewolves of Hogwarts'. lol
It could work, nix is funny with jokes and such because some roll right off her and some hit nerves when there's no good reason for it which could be interesting. She might fly off the handle over something seemingly innocent and then something major might not bug her, I can see them becoming close freinds and do the whole "the more i insult you the more i love you" bit but i think that might take nix's history coming out as you say to actually happen. Maybe start off on the wrong foot, and then a joke or comment goes too far and a slightly too close to the moon nix snaps about something and they get that bit closer after it
As for nix and remus, if there's any opening, that girl is going to all but follow him about

LOL I can see it. I see Rose just being all, "gosh, you're really moody today, is it a full moon or something for you?" Because Rose has a habit of making bad jokes to insinuate her own furry little problem. And they just stare at each other for a moment.
Maybe Nix teases her about being in the lower year even though Rose is sixteen? And they just kinda butt heads like that for awhile?
Gosh i can see that, Nix sitting in the great hall doing homework and then rose comes over and say something, nix makes a quip about "Oh its 6th work, its too hard for a kid like you" and thats what sets off the passive aggressive insult throwing Nix sticks to age jokes and nerdy jokes because shes unoriginal, rose is smarter with comments and jokes until we hit the snap point and then just wonderful blank stares Thats a thread writing itself right there
