Now it was his turn to be a little caught off guard. He hadn't expected her to just be going for any normal conversation. After what had happened it seemed a bit of a downgrade. Then again they hardly knew each other, and maybe a downgrade might serve them well for now.
"Oh...I uh didn't know." He said.
"B-but I still wanted to tell you. I-it's uh something that's been weighing on me a bit. I didn't want to keep it a secret, it's just...I know how some people are." Willow said. This felt kinda awkward, and still a bit scary. It was frustrating because he knew it shouldn't be. He didn't want to be afraid of it.
He took a deep breath after a minute or two of hesitation and plowed on through.
"S-sometimes I-Iliketoweargirlsclothes." Willow said, he sighed at himself. He couldn't have gotten it out a little slower? He tried again.
"I-I'macrossdresser." He said. Nope that didn't work either. He hung his head and waited for laughter. Or a gasp or something.

She nodded, sitting in anticipation, waiting for him to reveal this secret to her. He looked nervous, so she wondered what it ever could be.
Well, she wasn't quite expecting... what it was. Hearing him, she wasn't sure if she heard right the first time, but at his clarification, she was sure she had heard right. Careful now Hunter, careful with your reaction. She gave him a once-over, he didn't look that androgynous at first glance, but with the right makeup. Hm. She smiled and patted him on the back, "Are you really now?"
Her eyes shimmered with excitement, "well, aren't you the best of both worlds? An excellent lover and I can share my clothes with you."
Willow blinked. He hadn't been expecting that. But it was getting him stimulated again. Best of both worlds? Lover?! She would share her clothes?!?! He gave her a look conveying his gratitude before beaming.
"Th-th-thanks. T-that all sounds a-amazing." Willow said, feeling himself grow red again.
"But what about you? You have any stories?" He asked. Willow wanted to hear more about her. She was so...fascinating.

He was red again. D'aww. Oh, yes, she would indeed dress him up, she had a trunk full of beauties that he would look amazing in. She could just imagine it. In fact, she probably had a stupid far off look on her face that when he asked about her, she jumped slightly as if started. "Uh, me. Right. Uhhh..."
She giggled lightly, feigning embarrassment, what could she tell him? What would match such a secret as his? She tapped her bottom lip in thought, adverting her eyes from his.
"Well," she drawled out the L sound coyly, adding a hum to the end, thinking. "I don't know if you'd believe me if I told you."
"I-I'd believe you." Willow said. "You...you've been good to me. So I trust you. You can trust me." He said. He wasn't as eloquent as normal but it had been an exhausting day. Willow spent some time imagining what her secret could be. It felt so exciting. She seemed mysterious and a little dangerous. And that was appealing.

She really did want to believe him and it wasn't that she didn't the fear, the fear he would want her to leave the moment it left her mouth, gave her pause. Had she really been good to him? Or was she stringing him along on some sick game in her head? She wasn't quite sure. She liked him a lot though and wanted him to be her friend. Something about their goals, just, aligned with each other she felt. Suddenly the secret came to her, "Well, for a personal reason; I am on a mission to show people that Werewolves aren't monsters."
She gave a sad smile, her gaze locking with his, giving the effect that there was more to read between the lines. "There's someone, very close to me, that is a werewolf. That they've been on the run for their entire life because, in his past, he's been hated and abandoned. I want to show them that people like are not like that as much anymore. Sure there's some, but, there are more people who are understanding... that it's not ou-his fault."
She had almost said 'our'. She gave a heavy sigh. It wasn't exactly what she was eluding to, but it was close enough.
Willow was focusing on her. He listened to her tale and he sighed. Both of them shared a similar goal. Redemption, both in truth and in the public perception. It was going to be a long hard road for both of them. He knew there was more she wasn't saying, but he decided to take her at face value for now.
"I wish you luck on your quest. I'll help you. As much as I am able. I can sympathize in a sense. So many people see green and silver on me and they think they know what that means right away. It's not right. And it's dangerous because it's a self-fulfilling prophecy. I know good Slytherins, both at school now and relatives of mine. I don't want them to feel isolated. To think that only Death Eaters will accept them. I want to change the image of Slytherin because right now it is halfway between the last wizarding war and modernity. I need to push it forward." He said. He felt like he was babbling.
"Sorry. I don't know if any of that made sense. I just...I understand a bit where your coming from. I hope you can protect your loved one." Willow said, and began thinking a bit about his loved ones.

Her eyes lit up instantly, as it seemed he understood what she was saying. Granted, what he was trying to do for Slytherin, was very similar; actually probably more connected than she thought. She felt herself smiling again and she was pretty sure it was that earth-stopping one again. But she couldn't help it. It was... it was nice to have someone understand this goal. Even the Weasleys didn't quite get it; well they did, but they just warned her to not get hurt. She had sighed and shaken her head, she probably was going to get hurt in the process of all this, but she wouldn't be alone, because there would be people like Willow at her side, fighting for it as well, and a similar goal.
"That's... that's exactly how I feel," she said, finally finding her voice after beaming at him for god knows how long. "And it makes perfect sense. Augh! I could kiss you right now!"
Willow was caught up in her beauty. So caught up in her beauty he barely heard her understanding of his feelings. He almost missed her saying that she could kiss him right then.
"H-huh?" Willow said, taken aback. I mean she had kissed him several times but...saying it like that made it seem...different. Like maybe she was going to kiss him on the mouth.
"I-I...wo-wouldn't mind if you did. You know." He said, rubbing his arm awkwardly.

She sobered then, a tilt of the head, causing her hair to fall over one shoulder. Ah, she had said that, didn't she. Bad, Hunter, bad. She was honestly digging herself into a very deep grave and if she didn't quit and pull herself there was going to be broken hearts and hurt feelings and...
She just couldn't. But she was Rose Ameile Hunter! And she was feeling every so... so.. what's the word? Augh. She didn't have the word, but she really didn't have any way else to thank him. To thank him for being so kind. For being so very good to her. It's not like she hadn't ever been kissed, or kissed anyone, but kisses were important. Special. She considered it, this was important. Special. It would fall under those qualifications.
Before she could even compute that she was moving, she was already doing it. Fine, heart, you win this round. She brought her hands up to gently cup his cheeks, still grinning that grin.
"I am going to kiss you now," she chuckled. "Try not to die."
And she went for it, the first touch was a soft touch and she gauged his reaction, with a quick flick of her eyes up before closing them and focusing. The next was a more firm press and for a moment she had regretted not reapplying her lips stick first, but oh well. One hand sweeping from his cheek and into his hair... and then she pulled away completely. Her heart was racing and she was taking deep controlled breaths, to make it as though that had not affected her as deeply as it had.
It was brilliant, breathtaking, beautiful. All those things and more. He felt his world spinning out of control. She had kissed him. She had kissed him. She had kissed him! Really kissed him this time. Not some peck on the cheek. Willow was spellbound by her. She was...incredible.
That had to mean something didn't it? She wouldn't just kiss him like that for no reason. This forbidden love thing was making more and more sense. And he absolutely loved it.
"T-thank y-you." He said.
"Ma-Maybe we should d-do tha a-again so-sometime." Willow said, avoiding eye contact by staring at the ground.

While she was putting herself together, she had finally noticed that the train had begun to move (how long had she been here?); she looked up and found that the corridors had finally settled and she smiled softly. Now was the time to make her exit. Hate to kiss and run but, I have an estranged brother to find. She thought bitterly to herself. They would meet again in school, she was sure of it. She turns to him, giving him that brilliant smile of hers. Thank you he had said like he had been bestowed a gift. She wanted to laugh, but she kept quiet. "I have to go now," she said softly. Pretending as if she hadn't heard his last statement. "I need to find that person. But, find me at school. Like I said, I have lots of pretties for you to try on."
She gave a heartfelt smile and then vanished through the compartment door.
With one last beautiful smile, she was gone. He was alone again. Willow couldn't be too upset with how that turned out but...something about how she left seemed odd. Hadn't she looked a little sad? Willow was going to have to keep a close eye on her, for more than just one reason.
In any case, she had promised him a date, so he wouldn't worry about not seeing her again. Besides they were in the same year. Willow picked up his book and tried to start reading again but soon realized he had forgotten where he left off. The Slytherin sighed and went back to daydreaming about Rose.
