we are a low word count, any level of experience rp set in harry's 3rd year at hogwarts. students and adults alike are welcome! given we are set fairly early in the series, everything that happens from this point on will be up to us! perhaps sirius black will be cleared and peter arrested, or perhaps something darker lurks in the shadows...

Rose sat there, completely sleep drunk. Why did she think breakfast dates were a smart idea? And why did she always show up an hour before she needed to? Hell, she should be late! But no, here she was, barely touched coffee and wanting no more than to crawl back into her bed. She hoped the coffee would work soon. Because, by the way, the tables were filling with plates and jugs and everything else; breakfast would be starting soon and that meant people.
That means actually interacting and not acting like a caveperson. She groaned again, downing half the coffee in closed-eyes appreciation. Regardless, she yawned, put her head in her hand and attempted to keep her eyes open.
He knew Rose always ended up coming early for almost anything planned, even if that meant that she would end up being a zombie during the meeting. However, even when he tried to be there early, he found himself checking himself out in a mirror for a bit too long as he got ready this morning, outfitting his robes with some pretty cool clothes underneath. While a bit tired himself, apparently something from the part Veela he had met rubbed off on him as he was told by many he woke up beautiful, though a messy sort of beautiful. Or it could be just his natural charm as a person.
Trotting down from the common room, Elias was stopped by a girl flirting with him, which he flirted back with for a moment before he told her he had to run off to meet up with a friend. She looked a bit upset, but he couldn’t be late for a breakfast date even if it meant hanging out with pretty girls, or pretty boys for that matter. No matter what that was one of his big things: if you make plans you follow through. If you promise something? You also follow through.
Entering the Great Hall, he almost instantly spotted her and trotted up to her, taking a seat next to her, with a small smile. She was still half-asleep as he expected. In order to wake her up, he did something a bit odd to onlookers but he had been fairly known for it back home in France where it wasn’t as odd. He kissed her cheek. “Rose Hunter. Fancy seeing you here.”

When she felt lips on her cheek and she turned to greet Willow, but the words that the person who had joined her clicked in her brain and the greeting stopped short. Instead if the dark haired Slytherin she was met with fair hair. Her jaw was still dropped in shock. She was still having trouble believing he was here. This friend of hers from Beauxbatons. He looked so different in the dark colors of Hogwarts. He was handsome before but now. Her eyebrows twitched. Dangerous path there Hunter.
She snapped her.mouth closed, sighing through her nose.
"Elias," she greeted. Her nose wrinkled. She was never good with the French dialect and now that she'd been here for three years it was even worse.
"Lumiere," she went for the nickname she had chosen for him and was much more pleased with it. "To what do I owe the pleasure of your gorgeous appearance this early in the morning?"

He laughed and started getting a plate of food and some coffee to help wake him up (yes he was tired despite how he might seem). Looking to her she seemed fairly shocked at his appearance. Well of course she was, he was devilishly handsome. There was no man who could compare to his looks! Okay, laying it on a bit thick there Elias, reign in your ego. Even if you thought that was true.
“What do you think? To see you. You always were early.” He grinned grabbing a forkful of eggs and offering to feed her with it. “Even though you were always a zombie in the mornings.” He laughed again taking a bite of some toast still offering her the eggs, the fork hovering near her mouth. “Eat, it’ll wake you up.”

This was goddamn scandalous, but, who was she to deny her friend and his wiles. Hell, his wiles were worse than hers. She took the proffered food with a delicate swipe of her mouth, smiling as she chewed. Like some people for her - Willow included, it was very hard for her to say no to. Especially if Elias went back to treating her as he did before she left. They hadn't been a couple, as she had been too young. But now three years later, at the tender age of sixteen; reunited in a place like this. Stuff had the potential to happen. He really had been the light of her life, in those dark days.
"To see me, sure," she said in a sing-song voice. "I'm only a zombie on certain mornings, you know this."
She sighed, enjoying their banter if was different, and she could feel the eyes of the few people who had filtered into the great hall. This must be hella confusing. One moment, that Slytherin kid. Now this pretty older boy from her own house? What's going on with Rose Hunter?
...she wished she knew why her life was so complicated.
"You look handsome in these, much different than the pale blue silks."
The words tumbled from her mouth and she was unable to stop them, but she rolled on, pulling at the sleeve of his Ravenclaw robe.
"Must be nice to be here, though," she said, a devilish grin on her face. "No other boys to fight through for my attention, eh?"
Well, okay, one. But one was different than a hundred.

He smiled as she took the bite and started casually feeding her breakfast with a grin on his face. Ah, she was so beautiful, even compared to all the Beauxbaton girls, despite those girls being extremely gorgeous. Even still, he enjoyed seeing her – he might be the light of her life in some dark days – but she always brought light to his life just by smiling and being by his side. Ah, Augustine would be so excited to see her again. His smile faltered for just a moment thinking of his friend.
“What? I do not look handsome all the time?” Elias laughed before putting on his accent extremely thickly, “Who could evair cahmpahre to ze sexy beast zat ees me?” He laughed again taking a drink of some pumpkin juice and eating a bit of the bacon on his plate. Rose might notice this as he tended to stay away from the meats when she knew him, choosing to instead give them to either her or Augustine, but he found himself craving them a lot more lately.
“Now now, I am not blind, I can see how all these boys seem to not be able to resist your charm. I suppose it comes from being at Beauxbatons that I can see right through the charm and to the beautiful and charming girl under it all.”

She noticed his smile falter for a moment and a thought sprung to her mind a moment; he was here, but where was - she would ask that in a moment. Or maybe not even today. Who knows.
"Stop," she chided, punching him lightly in the shoulder. "You know you were the most handsome boy at Beauxbatons. Merlin only knows why you set your attention on me though."
She gave an undignified snort, very unladylike, something which changed about here from being here for three years. She was much more... relaxed, as one would put it? She did notice the penchant for bacon though and she rose a brow. Now, she, was always one for meat, as rare as she could get it, without seeming... strange. The British really did overcook their meat. But Elias... him actually choosing to eat it rose a flag in her brain, because that was out of sort. "In Hogwarts for a week and already indulging into the different food types? It's fattening, yanno. Wouldn't want you to loose your figure."
She punctuated this by poking his side with a grin.
"Yeah, you may not be blind, but I blind everyone else here. At least I figured out why now."

He laughed (after swallowing of course he wasn’t a barbarian), running a hand over his shoulder feigning pain. “The most handsome? Of course I was! Then again, you were the most beautiful girl there. That’s why I had my sights on you. Not just in body, but also in soul. Who better for the best than the best? Not to mention the fact I was very much in love with you.” Oozing confidence and thinking she’d take it in a joking way despite not actually joking about it, he leaned in and whispered into her ear. “I still am.” He laughed pulling away and feeding her some of the sausage.
“Ah, yes, of course. I’ve had a taste for it for awhile now, perhaps I should have gotten onto Augustine for introducing me to such fattening foods! You, Augustine and Brother,” Elias had always seemed to call Remus ‘Brother’ despite not being related, and Remus seeming to dislike it quite a bit at least the few times he got to see the guy. “Convinced me to eat chocolate and I’ve gained so much weight! I’ve had to work out extra hard to keep my body this way. Though I’m sure the Quidditch team will be helping that quite a bit. Though I’m only on the reserves because I transferred so late.”
“Hold on, you didn’t know before?” He laughs again hanging his head back and then looking at her and taking her hand in his. “Darling, how could you have not known? I knew it wasn’t quite like the Veela, but I knew you had a charm coming from your blood.”

"Okay, Gaston, cool it," she snickered but said snicker stop short at his little admission at the end.
Well, talk about scandalous. She was sure anyone in a five-seat radius heard that. She looked to the few housemates that appeared this early, and it seemed they were ignoring her. For once. She sighed, not sure if he was joking or not. Not sure to address it, or go along with it. Regardless, her face was now a very pretty shade of pink and she couldn't help the sense of pride that coursed through her. To be honest, he probably outranked everyone here, especially since he was from Beauxbatons. She was the exotic one there, but now, he was the exotic one... and in a sense hers. Then there was Willow, the gorgeous Slytherin Prince. She was starting a collection. She took the bite of sausage from him, a devilish look on her face.
"Oh, you are, are you?" She couldn't help but address it. She wasn't one to miss details like that. "Well, hopefully, my beauty hasn't changed too much, I'm not as concerned if my hair is done a certain way, or if I'm wearing makeup every day. Especially on certain days."
She blanched when she heard he had joined the Quidditch team. She hadn't had a reason to go to the Quidditch games, but now... she sighed. It meant probably having to deal with Cho; but, for Elias; she would endure. "Well, hopefully, Cho will let you play. She has a tendency to get injured somehow. Though we haven't won a game since Potter was allowed to join in his first year. Kid's got talent. But, it sucks for the rest of us."
She rolled her eyes, "hey. Chocolate is not my fault. That's Remus' and he's already got me addicted to it again since he's been here! He gives it out like money. 'Here, eat this, it makes you feel better'. Ugh. Haven't had my fix in awhile though. I'm avoiding him," as she says this the pain from their most recent conversation enters her eyes again. "I just don't know what to do. He's so stubborn about everything. He just doesn't understand if he just lets me to this one thing for him his life would be better, he'd be able to take care of himself and do everything he's ever wanted. I just need him to relent, just this once."
She sighed brokenly, closing her eyes forcing the despair away. "I needed time to think, still do, I really haven't come up with any other ideas. Other than to continue to make sure he gets what he needs..."
She shook her head, "apparently my mother was waiting until I was older. Not sure why turning sixteen wasn't 'old enough'. Most people start dating before that and that sort of charm kinda affects the balance of real and imaginary. Unfortunately, I had to find out the hard way when I accidentally seduced a Hufflepuff upperclassmate. I wasn't even trying!"
Another sigh, "only two people other than my parents in this world who seem to be immune; you, and Remus. Everyone else, I gotta be careful around. I guess that's why I'm glad you're here. I didn't have my bodyguard with me anymore, so I go into trouble. Welcome home, Elias."

Elias snickered when she compared him to Gaston – while he was a pureblood, he knew Rose, and apparently her father had married a muggle prior, and thus he had some exposure to that which muggles called ‘movies’. Especially the French one with the beast and the beauty. What was it called again? Oh right, Beauty and the Beast. He seemed to enjoy that one quite a bit honestly, possibly because he could see himself in Belle, having fallen for someone others would consider a beast, but he never really did. Well, not just one person others might call a beast, but two. He did really like Augustine, a little bit more than a friend, but he never got the chance to admit his feelings to the boy…
“Oh, my beauty, you would look beautiful no matter what you did with yourself. You could slather yourself with dirt and I’d still think you’re amazing. You are smart and very kind, funny, accepting, and different than all the other girls at Beauxbatons.” He reached for her hand with his free hand as he fed her and kissed the back of her hand with a delicate precision.
“Well, no offense, but I do think I may be better than her, but maybe not Potter,” He winks at her and laughs, “Though she isn’t too bad. When I first got here I approached the team to request being on it. She seems like a very charming young girl… I wonder if she has a boyfriend~” Given his wolfish laugh after that, he was obviously joking, but knowing him, he probably would flirt with her regardless.
“Oh yes it is your fault, it may have some fault with Brother, but you started me on the trail of no return,” Another laugh followed by a bite of his food for himself. He offered a sausage to her and… then once she would have one end in her mouth he bit the other, almost making them kiss, but biting off the piece just before their lips would meet.
Elias thought for a moment about Remus and then just smiled at her, patting her back lightly. “I’m sure it will just take time. If worst comes to worst I’ll just punch him for you.” It was a light joke, but also tinted with seriousness.
“Well, Rose, immunity comes with experience, though even despite your powers you’ve managed to seduce me. If you ever want something more, I’m your man.”

"Don't tempt me to test that," she said laughing.SHe couldn't help the blush though at his praise.
"I don't know, I think you might give Potter a run for his money, I don't think Oliver Wood is tough enough on him. Not like they were on us at Beauxbatons. I honestly miss the daybreak practices. It was something to do. I don't really have a reason to get up at dawn here. I mean, other than this, heh."
Her eyes narrowed, eyes gleaming dangerously, "if she comes within ten feet of you, she may be my first and only victim."
She was kidding, but there was no way she was going to approve of that. He was too good for Cho. There was probably only one person she would approve of and...There she was again, Augustine had come back up in her thoughts, but he hadn't brought him up exactly either. She wasn't sure whether to mention him or not. She eyes him though, as he offered her the sausage, her eyes travelling over to the Slytherin table he wasn't there yet, so god knows who he was peacocking for. The few people in Ravenclaw were just watching them like they were the most interesting people in the world though, she took the piece, smiling as she pulled away from the mock kiss.
She laughed again, "well, he's gonna be annoyed that you're here. I've already got his 'girlfriend'", she air quoted this."Set on him too, so hopefully something will happen. I just can't do this on my own, anymore, but hopefully, it wouldn't come to force."
Willow entered the Great Hall. Again he had been caught up in plans and spells and research, so he made it late. Still, he had to make time for more than one obsession. Rose was his other, and he wanted to flirt with her and tell her stories and maybe even eat breakfast.
To his surprise, he found Rose in a compromising position. Accepting a sausage from another boy. He never had any illusions that he would be alone in courting Roses affections, indeed even before he had learned that Rose was a succubus, he was surprised half the male students and a good portion of the female students wasn't all vying for her affections. Considering she was a succubus he had no idea how he was able to spend any time alone with her at all. But this was unexpected.
The male in question...he wasn't bad looking. Objectively speaking, of course. Sure he found his eyes a bit torn between the two but...that was only natural. He composed himself and walked up to the Ravenclaw table.
"Well, well, well. What do we have here? Friend of yours, Rose?" Willow said it was a good-natured greeting. Kill them with kindness, was always his mother's philosophy.

“Well, maybe we could set up practices for you and me in the mornings. Get those muscles moving.” He laughed, in an obviously teasing way, poking her arm.
“What is that? Is that jealousy I see in you?” Another laugh and more teasing. “What is wrong? Are you wishing I would be kissing you instead? I wouldn’t say no.” Well that was very true, he wouldn’t say no. He’d say hell yes. Because she was adorable and he cared for her a lot. He also planned to ask Remus if he could have his blessing for asking her out – even if the guy said no he likely would do it anyways, it would just make her brother happy, and therefore if you make the brother happy, you make the girl happy. After all, he wanted to know her forever, even if not in a ‘romantic’ sense, and be a part of her family in a way. It never went well when someone disliked a family member. He knew Rose would likely pick her brother over anyone else if the choice had to be made – at least eventually.
“Brother has a girlfriend? Since when? Is she pretty? Are they exclusive?” He waggles his eyebrows still teasingly.
“Something there that wasn’t there before~” He sang this very lightly and almost at a whisper before he quickly looked up hearing someone approaching and seeing Willow there. Looking to Rose and back to Willow after the greeting, he gave her a shit-eating grin. “Il est beau, ce mec.” Which means that guy is good looking in French, though not quite what google translate would give one, more like what actual speakers use apparently according to some website. “ C’est ton mec, Rose?” Is that your boyfriend? Again using some French actual speaking words and ways people apparently talk.
“Hello there,” He winks at Willow after his questions to Rose. “Elias Lefeuvre, I am from Beauxbatons, just transferred this year. Are you in Rose’s year? I’m glad she has handsome young men to keep her company.”

"Oh yes, even more reasons for me to get up at four am and be a complete zombie by dinner. That sounds like such fun!"
Her voice was dripping in sarcasm and she returned his poke, but hers was to his cheek. Here, she noticed just a bit of jam and before she could stop herself, she had leaned over and licked it off the corner of his mouth. It was one swift move, but her heart was hamming as she completely cleared it away with the pad of her thumb. God, Hunter. Stop. That was way too intimate.
She rose a brow, giving him a grin. "What is there to wish when you would probably do it anyway?"
Insert suggestive eyebrow waggle here. However, she was about to answer his query about Remus, but a familiar voice spoke behind her. She spun around, eyes bright.
Willow's appearance did not take her by surprise... at least on the outside. Her heart, however, did jump start into a panic, the only visible clue of this was the ever so slight widening of her blue eyes. The look of surprise faded quickly into a look of adoration.
"Finally, good lord-" she looked at her watch. "You're twenty minutes late! Did you get caught up with someone else?"
Haha, funny joke Hunter, considering what you were doing just five seconds ago. Teachers hadn't appeared yet, so she slid out of the table only to take a seat on top of it, grinning. It had been a few weeks and she found controlling the charm wasn't too difficult. She honestly just had to watch her emotions, but when she was around Willow, it was the only time she really wanted them to leak through. Flirting with Elias or not, she did lean forward, capturing Willow's lips, and possibly his attention for the moment, pulling away, she gave him that look with a wink, before turning to Elias.
"Elias, meet Willow. Willow, this is Elias, he and I went to school together at Beauxbatons."
She then gave Elias a teasing grin, "Careful, Willow's really pretty. I seem to have a penchant for attracting the attractive ones. Keep the jealousy in check, ok?"
French, that was...interesting. What was it his mother had told him about French boys? Or was that girls? No the story about French girls she had stopped and said he'd have to wait til he was older to hear it. French boys, she had said, were almost all flirts of the highest caliber. Willow felt his heart beating oddly. Shouldn't he feel a bit...jealous? Sure he had been raised in an...understanding household but his mother and father both told him jealousy was bound to happen sometimes for nearly anybody. Yet here he felt...intrigued watching the two of them together. He almost wished he could see more.
And then he winked at him. And called him handsome. He was definitely a flirt. For both genders it seemed. Which, should have bothered him too. Only it didn't. It just made him feel like Rose did when she first flirted with him on the train.
Was he like his mother in that way too? Was he...bi?
Come to think of it, hadn't he often caught himself admiring Cedric's athletic form and handsome smile? Hadn't he thought Potter had pretty eyes? Didn't he like looking at that weird hufflepuff named Root even though he was so obnoxious?
Willow needed to get a hold of himself and not have an identity crisis in front of the Great Hall. Suddenly Rose kissed him and gave him that look and suddenly he longed for the room of requirement.
"Ca-caught up with someone else? No. I just was busy studying. Although...a pretty 4th year Slytherin girl has been asking me for a lot of help on homework. Something tells me that her interest is more than academic." He said. This was true, but also a calculated move to say it now. How would she respond?
"E-Elias is it? We-well it's good to meet you. I'm glad she had a good friend at Beauxbaton. Although this does interfere with my fantasies of her gallivanting around on less than platonic escapades with her female classmates. Pity." Willow said, he was having a hard time determining the right amount of eye contact to make with this guy. Was he staring? Was he looking away to much? He couldn't tell. God he was cute.
