we are a low word count, any level of experience rp set in harry's 3rd year at hogwarts. students and adults alike are welcome! given we are set fairly early in the series, everything that happens from this point on will be up to us! perhaps sirius black will be cleared and peter arrested, or perhaps something darker lurks in the shadows...

Tonks, suffice to say, was in an really good mood.
So much so, she decided to have a little fun with her rounds today. She would play a game, every teacher she passed. She would morph into as she rounded a corner, effectively making them go back the way they had come from. Also to say, she had been up to this for about an hour, currently in the guise of Professor Snape, a shit eating grin on her...his face.
She attempted to send the customary glare at everyone as she passed them, robes sweeping. This was too fun. Other students were looking on, confused, hadn't he just gone the other way? She heard one ask and she had to keep herself from giggling.
Honestly, there were two things that could happen, McGonagall could catch her, or Remus, or Rose or some student ratted her out.

Hermione had just finished Potions along with Harry and Ron. She had glanced at the time and realized she was late for one of her double classes. The third year made up some random excuse so that Harry and Ron left the dungeons earlier than her. The girl had just passed Professor Snape on her way up to the first floor.
After making sure that no one was around, Hermione reached for the Time-Turner necklace and was just about to activate it when she saw Professor Snape again. Weird. Then Hermione heard a giggle. That couldn't be right. The third year student arched an eyebrow, "Are you alright?" Hermione couldn't shake the feeling that something was off.

Miss Granger watched as Professor Snape spun around and sneered. The movement seemed a bit too fast for the normally slow moving and purposeful man and the sneer looked slightly off. Hermione listened carefully to Snape's words, sensing that something was definitely wrong. But Hermione couldn't simply talk back to a professor, the perfectionist had to be respectful at all times.
This put the know-it-all into a peculiar position. Hermione decided to handle it simply by nodding her head clearly. Though with Snape's next comment caused her to pause and downright look warily at Professor Snape. She thought that only Professor McGonagall and Professor Dumbledore were the only two from Hogwarts that knew about the Time-Turner. Her eyes narrowed, "Of course, Professor. I would hate to be late getting to Professor Lupin's class! After all, he is everyone's favorite professor this year!
