✔ hawthorn ✔ eight inches ✔ phoenix feather
This wand is sturdy, strong-willed and focused. This wand has a protective nature, making it particularly adept at DADA.
Hawthorn. +Masculine. +Associated with the Owl. +Element of air. +Provides psychic protection. +Used for charms. +Confidence, patience, weather working and banishment of evil spirits.
Phoenix Feather. Phoenix tail feather is a popular wand core due to its versatility and power. Its main strength lies in Defense Against the Dark Arts, although its adaptability can wrench it to hexes and jinxes if need be. As with the dragon heartstring core, the phoenix core is common amongst Light Wizards, but its users are not necessarily Light Wizards. This core may specifically impede Dark spells, so it is not common amongst Slytherins. However, it is by far the most common Gryffindor wand core, and is not unusual amongst Ravenclaws and Hufflepuffs.
Wands cored with phoenix tail feathers, are more versatile, not as specialized as the other two magical cores. It is more the degree of power that is decided by the feather. Many of the most powerful wizards, be they good or evil, are cored by Phoenix feather wands. They are more adept at difficult magic, such as Unforgivables or Patronus Charms. Holders of other wands can work the charms just as effectively, but it seems to come more naturally to carriers of Phoenix feather wands. Also, the phoenix feather wand seems to be adept at creating shields that could defend against the strongest hexes created by the Dragon Heartstring Wand. Users may be adept at defending themselves using Occlumency.
Good For: Shields, Defense Against the Dark Arts, More Advanced Magic, Occlumency.
✘ Ravenclaw, despite contrary, belief
For as long as she has known, her family had a History of being Gryffindor, so while she was expecting this, being placed in Ravenclaw was a huge shock. When she wrote home that night, at lunch her parents had sent her a letter, letting her know of their joy - and also slight shock. The hat had commented that she would do well in Gryffindor, but it felt like Ravenclaw is where she would be better suited. Perhaps the hat was right. People tend to use their brains more in Ravenclaw... which is good, expecially for a person with her... condition.

✔ Intelligent, I'm no Ravenclaw, but I do have a sense of knowledge about me. I'm a very fast learner, and I do things fully and completely, even going out of my way to find my answers; ✔ Quick-witted, yeah, YOUR MOM! *laughs* Just kidding, but I can come up with quick responses to jokes and stuff... most of the time. Sometimes my quick-witted-ness gets me in trouble... hmm, don't they call that sass? They do, oh, shoot; ✔ Resourceful, books are a big part of anything. Like I said before, I'll go to any lengths to find what I'm looking for, that does mean hours and hours in the Library, or sitting on my bed practicing a spell till it hurts; ✔ Clumsy, how in the bloody hell is this a strength, you may ask. Well, on several occasions, my clumsiness has gotten peoples attention... more or less for people to stand out of the way, or I've fallen into a boy that I really liked... mm, ice breakers, "Oh! Sorry, did I drop my book?";
✘ Forgetful, ah... yes. I've forgotten that I'm forgetful. See? Usually it ends up with me not having a particular book, or assignment, or something along those lines; ✘ Easily Loses Track of Time; timeliness.... ah, I wish I could tell you I'm punctual. But I'm not. I do try my hardest to make it to class on time though; ✘ Distract-able, what? What was I staring at, oh... that shiny barrette in that girl's hair... it has an unusual shape... you know, like a cucumber. OH! I like cucumbers... I make my own pickles... did you know that? I didn't. Hee!; ✘ Submissive, ah yes... actually the next one fits into this category too... if you ask me to do something, give me a cute face (and you're a guy) I'll do nearly about anything... given you're not an prat to me before hand; ✘ Gullible, again, cute face, and say please. I'll give in. Uhm, also, if you give a good reasoning behind it I'll believe almost anything I'm told... given it makes sense... if you told me a troll would make a good boyfriend... I believe I'd have to hit you with my broom.
Proud, I never let anything get me down. I like who I am, what I do, and where I come from. If you don't like it, then you should shove Off;
Quiet, however proud I may be, I'm also a very quiet person. I won't jump into a situation and cause more ruckus, if I think there's already enough. I hate drama. I don't like he-said, she-said situations, so if you can't come up to me and tell me something yourself, then you're not worth talking to. At all;
Determined, I get things done. Plain and Simple. And in a decent amount of time too;
Loyal, *sings* I've got you Baaabe, and you've got me.~~ Yeah, you know, loyalty. I'm like a dog. Once I've determined you as a friend, I won't turn my back on you. And I hope you don't do the same. *stares*;
Loveable, again, a dog like trait. I have a few of those. I will love you to the end of time, once I really get to know you… and you work your way under my skin. I've been told I'm quite motherly at times. Scary.
Quirky, I have quirks, random phrases and stuff I'll say when I'm distracted or bored or just being funny. I guess that's what you'd call a quirk. I also meow when I'm being curious or I'm confused... miao?

I was born June 30, 1977, in a London Hospital - St. Mungo's, probably, but I don't remember and I haven't bothered to ask. My Parents and I live in London, of course. I'm the youngest sister of Remus Lupin; being 17 years younger than him and from a different mother. Also, another reason why I take my Mother's surname than my fathers, as a safety precaution is as even though she loves her husband very much, my mother decided that to prevent further attacks from Greyback on the Lupin name, she would guard us, by giving her daughter her name.
Uhm... I grew up quietly, I've always been a bit of a shy girl, but once I'm comfortable I really let loose. I went to a muggle private school, from PreK to year five. Muggle school was boring but my mother said it was essential for my growing up, I did make a few friends though, but even I knew I was different.
Regardless of my surname, it seemed that Voldemort had a different plan. He sent Greyback after my mother one evening, my fathering being out on a raid. We thought we were safe. I was six at the time.
Greyback had gone to attack her and me, being the stupidly brave girl I was stepped in front of him, only to have a nice chunk of muscle taken out of my arm. Greyback was in his werewolf form at the time, so my fate as a Lupin was sealed once again.
We moved to France shortly after, where I continued schooling and I only missed a day or two out of each month during the full moon so while my absences were questionable, it wasn't so extreme as to have people be too concerned about me.
When did I first find out I was a witch? One New Year's, while I was in France. I wanted more fireworks... I got more fireworks. Nearly set an entire forest on fire. Oops.
I attended Beauxbatons from the time I was 11 til I was 13 where I then transferred to Hogwarts, at which point I started as a first year, due to the vast difference of curriculum, and I thought it only fair; which made me older than my fellow first years, but not as unapproachable as other third years in the school.
At Hogwarts, I was surprisingly sorted as Ravenclaw. I had expected Gryffindor. Especially since I practically grew up with the Weasleys. The sorting had mentioned that the last time he had sorted someone with my condition into Gryffindor... it didn't go well. I had a hunch on who it was talking about. It felt I would be much happier in Ravenclaw as people tended to use their brains more there than to judge people first.
I appreciated this judgement.
The first two years of school went by... well, not uneventfully, but we're alive, so that's a good thing. Who know one kid could get into so much trouble just because he thwarted Voldemort! Honestly! Sometimes I think he just looks for trouble just for attention. Fred says it isn't like that, but I don't know...
I now start my third year at Hogwarts... and they have just made Remus Lupin the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor... as you can imagine, I am not happy at this, since the last time I heard from him was.... I don't even remember. But now he just appears and is working at Hogwarts? Well he's gonna get an ear full the next time I see him,..
Currently she, her father and mother live in "Hunter Mansion" in an unplottable part of Britain, even so, not even she knows the part of the country she lives in.
