we are a low word count, any level of experience rp set in harry's 3rd year at hogwarts. students and adults alike are welcome! given we are set fairly early in the series, everything that happens from this point on will be up to us! perhaps sirius black will be cleared and peter arrested, or perhaps something darker lurks in the shadows...
Ebony ✔ 10 3/4 ✔ Dragon heartstring Somewhat flexible, Excellent with combat magic, good at transfigurations, middling with potions. Poor at healing spells and defensive charms.
Slytherin The sorting hat said they would make a good Slytherin or Ravenclaw. But reccomended Slytherin. Willow chose Slytherin. In the recent past his family had represented a reformist branch of Slytherins. However many of his earlier predesors represented the worst of Slytherin pure blood fanaticism, and an aunt joined the Death Eaters. One of Willow's defining goals is to redeem house Slytherin.

//background
I, Willow Fey, of House Fey, was born in the humble estate my family has lived in for centuries, a bit outside of Galway, Ireland. I spent my days taking walks in the grove of trees on our property, and learning much of the history of House Fey. My mother also taught me what must be done to get ahead. Be polite. Think your moves out cautiously. Plan ahead but be willing to be flexible and improvise. My parents never pushed a career path on me, but they did obviously want me to excell in whatever I did. They were also preparing me for what I needed to do at Hogwarts if I wanted to excel.
I was always much closer with my mother. I took after her in a lot of ways. I loved listening to her Auror stories and aspired to follow in her footsteps. I lived for her tales of travel and all the things she had seen. And I always loved her elegant sense of fashion. I would demand often that she "make me pretty" and she would rejoice in doing just so. Spending hours in front of a mirror turning me into her twin. Even so, I never questioned my gender identity. I was just a boy who liked female clothing, and in my isolated world, I didn't see anything odd about that.
As much as I loved my father we weren't as close. He wasn't a Fey. In truth, he was a Tyler who merely took the name. Still, I did love many of his trinkets and he was a great storyteller. He helped inspire my love of reading as well. Still in the face of my mother's vibrant personality, he felt a dull, meek man.
Arriving at Hogwarts was a dream come true. It was everything I thought it would be and more. The only problem was that I found Slytherin house to be lacking. Far too many of my fellow houseguests were blood supremacists and bullies. I spent the next two years devoting myself to being an exemplary student. My focus was on DADA and Potions, but really any subject that got me closer to my goal of being an Auror. I also spent time trying to analyze my fellow housemates and gauge their personalities, while staying out of the way of little Death Eaters.
