Remus nodded quickly looking down his list of questions, marking several off, including: if you could do one thing, anything, what would it be? Because half of these questions could be answered suggestively and while he was having fun learning all of this stuff about her, he wasn’t sure if his poor heart could take all of the suggestiveness. Asking about her perfect day, or a perfect dinner were also off the list. He also crossed out ones about her future, as he just wasn’t ready for asking those things. A question about something she might want to start doing was also marked off. Question after question he marked off with his quill nervously.
“Okay okay here’s a good one. What do you like to do in your free time?” Please don’t say you. He pleaded this in his head, not because he didn’t like the fact she obviously apparently somehow liked him, but because he was scared of this getting too serious too fast and – man, he wasn’t used to this feeling in his chest at all, or in his stomach. Did someone summon butterflies in his stomach? “Do you hang out with friends, uh, read or something else? Have you traveled anywhere special?”

An eyebrow quirked as he suddenly skipped several questions and she giggled. Well, she had tainted him now, oh well.
She schooled features carefully at the question he chose, behaving, "Pool; I like to play pool. It's very competitive, my father taught me starting when I was younger. I've actually beaten him in several games. I tend to take more to uh, muggle entertainment then I do our sort."
She gave a shrug, the next question gave her pause, but only for a moment. "As for friends... I'm a tad bit of a loner. The uh, Auror's office keeps me busy and I tend to like to stay out of it as much as I can to avoid my uncle."
She gave a shudder. "Honestly, I haven't had much leisure time in awhile... maybe that's why I'm here; Moody thinks I work too hard."
Pool? He remembered his mother telling him about that game at one point – or maybe it was Lily who had said something? As a man who stayed in the wizarding world and therefore a bit more isolated from the muggle world, he hadn’t too much experience with their games. It was the one where you hit the balls into the sockets on the sides right? And you were supposed to do it in a certain order, or only striped balls or only solid, if he recalled correctly at least. He’d like to think he had a pretty good memory. Ah! That was it! He remembered one time when he was younger his parents talking about a game of pool. Okay Remus, that’s good, make a connection with that.
“I should see if we can’t get a pool table then. I think I’d enjoy playing a game against you, though you’d have to go easy on me – I haven’t ever actually played the game. My mother was a muggle, so I at least heard bits about it from her. Apparently, my parents had a date once over a game of pool. Father won, only because Mother went easy on him. Father told me before that he accidentally sunk the 8 ball too early.”
While a bit unfortunate that she didn’t really have many friends (who wouldn’t want to be friends with her? She was amazing!), it also made things easier on him. The less people he had to meet and impress the better. “Ah, well, I’ve traveled a tad, mostly doing odd jobs around. Maybe some day you could travel too, when you get time. Paris is particularly beautiful, Italy as well.”

NOW her eye brows waggled suggestively, it was so hard to behave, but he made it difficult. "Oh. I would love to teach you. It would be fun."
Tonks' eyes lit up. Paris? With him? "That sounds amazing. We should go together someday."
Her eyes sparkled. Rose had told her about how they lived in France for a bit and how Remus seemed to really enjoy the countryside there. It would be prefect for raising a family.
His blush had returned when she waggled her eyebrows at him. “N-Not that it would be a d-date, j-just like this isn’t one its just – just getting together and – and talking.” That was a lie and you knew it at this point Remus, you are just grasping at straws, boy.
“T-Together?” Oh god, did he say something about going together? Not that he would mind, as he did enjoy France quite a bit, especially the countryside where he could just be away from people who he could hurt and relax in peace.
“Paris… would be pretty fun to visit together I suppose…”

"Of course." She agreed. "Two people, just talking. And a good game of pool, maybe with a little bit if a wager."
Okay so her brain might have supplied the together part on its own, but regardless. She would go to the ends of the Earth with and for this man, so it didn't matter what her brain supplied with. "It would indeed be fun."
His eyes sparkled with interest when she mentioned a wager. While he was fairly careful and didn’t leave much to chance when it came to things in his life, he was also a Gryffindor who enjoyed a bit of a challenge with a risk. “Oh? A wager? What sort of price do you have in mind?” Remus, you’re just setting yourself up for her to misbehave and fluster you again. Damn idiot.
Remus quickly looked down his list and marked off a few others before sighing. “Well… my list is pretty much done. I didn’t expect a couple of these questions to… well, have the answer to several more down the list. I… apparently didn’t think things through very well…” And to think he had spent all of his free time since they set up this time together putting together this list. He seemed almost a bit saddened by that. Not her answers, but by him not thinking enough about these questions it seemed.

Oh yes, she knew about Gryffindor's weakness to challenges, especially when they involved some sort of risk. It was a hook and line and he took it completely.
"I wonder, what price I could indeed set?"
As she said this, she stood and leaned against his desk, raising a hand to trail a gentle touch over a scar on his cheek, smiling deviously. Behaving was so gone out the window now, as she was slowly leaning in, her tongue brushing against her bottom lip before teasingly ghosting her lips across his, her hand pulling gently at his tie.
"I, of course," she breathed against his lips. "Could always just take my prize now."
Thump. Thump. ThumpthumpthumpTHUMPTHUMPTHUMP! That was his heart speeding up and getting very loud, or at least it felt like it was getting really loud. His face blushed profusely, her words entering his mind and left him wondering how he could have gotten so lucky to be in the same room as someone as amazing as her. For just a moment he forgot about his affliction, a very hard thing to do which he hadn’t for ages.
“You haven’t won yet.” He whispers this against her lips, a grin on his face. “I wonder if our prizes would be the same regardless of who won.” Remus, buddy, stop.

"Wouldn't they be though?"
With a grace that surprised even herself, she deposited herself into his lap, side-eyeing the door to make sure it was closed before continuing on misbehaving. One arm was around his shoulders holding herself steady there, while her other hand tugged at his tie again, as she smirked. She was honestly damned at this point - she couldn't resist anymore, though if he told her to stop, she would. But she prayed he wouldn't, the fire was just too hot. She leaned in again, teasingly ghosting kisses along his bottom lip, gently nipping it as well before trailing her lips along the scar across his face and then gently biting and tugging on his earlobe.
“A-Ah…” Remus bit his lower lip as she whispered to him, closing his eyes and enjoying the feeling of her with him. He was a bit overwhelmed at this point, having never done anything quite this serious – heck he hadn’t had a real kiss since she came along. He felt like he was a sixteen-year-old boy again, desperate for attention and love.
“Y-Yes, you’ve… won.” Carefully he placed a kiss along her neck, making sure his teeth didn’t graze her at all, just in case, given his… affliction and not knowing for sure how those things worked as he never tried it out. His hands rested along her waist, his eyes flicking to the door as well, before quickly flicking his wand for a muffiliato charm so if someone did show up at the door they wouldn’t hear anything that was going on in here. “Y-You can collect your prize, D-Dora…”

If she had to be peeeeeeerfectly honest, she wasn't planning on going farther than showing him what a good snog could be. He needed it, hell, she needed it and that would be satisfying enough for her until he was ready for further physical activity. The feeling of his lips against her neck and his hands at her waist caused a delightful shiver to run down her spine and she captured his lips with her own. The hilarious thing is she was suddenly realizing she was a bit of a biter, it wasn't rough, but gentle nips with her kisses. There was also the light growl that escaped her as she claimed his lips again, her hands tangling in his hair.
Remus hummed into her lips when his were captured again, wondering… was this what Sirius and James tended to do all the time? He couldn’t think of how it would be with anyone but Dora here, and yet, he also felt a tug at his heart, guilt swelling up inside of him. If she read that paper, if she ever found out, she would be disgusted by this act, she would hate herself forever for letting herself be tainted by the beast – though there was a tiny sliver of hope that had grown from reconnecting from his sister that whispered in his head: maybe she doesn’t care.
He was quite thankful she wasn’t doing too much more than a few nibbles here and there – honestly he found the biting to be quite… good – as even with that tiny sliver of hope inside of him he was extremely worried about anything more – he was sure even if he was a whole man he would have reservations given how private of a person he was.

She had finally loosened and removed his tie with no protest on his end and her fingers swiftly dealt with the top few buttons of his shirt, she pressed her hand against his chest steadying herself, her fingertips just barely touching the skin there. She longed for him to seek to want to touch her as well, but baby steps Nymphadora, you'll get there.
"If you want me to stop, tell me now," she whispered brushing her mouth against the hollow of his temple. "Or now." She traced the line of his cheekbone. Beneath her hand, she could feel the heat of his skin and the hammering heartbeat. All of it was a delicious feeling, here in this moment, there was nothing else in the world but them and the moonlight that cast an eerie glow against his skin, his scars standing out more than ever, her lips brushing against every single one.
"Moony's sister was attacked by Greyback;" Sirius' voice filled her head, a memory. "It's...it's not looking like a good outcome, she'll live but. It sucks. She's just a little girl! The world just has never been very to him or his family. He's going to be devastated if she--"
"If she what, Sirius?"
He sighed again, "if she's a werewolf too. Can you imagine? A pretty little girl like that, having to go through that the rest of her life? I would know, Moony would know; it's terrible. We all helped Moony though it, but what are we supposed to do about this..?"
Moonlight in her eyes, she suddenly pulled back, mouth agape. How could she have forgotten! Well, the conversation had been over twelve years ago of course. She had been barely eight herself, but Sirius had looked as he was about to burst with worry. She had asked what was wrong. And now, looking at Remus, here, now, twelve years later.
Rose. Remus. Moony. It all clicked back together. That little girl, was that beautiful young woman today. Who just wanted her brother happy. She was fighting the stigmas he had fought all his life, trying to give them a better chance at life.
"Moo--"
Suddenly the door burst open and Tonks' head spun to face it. There were only a few people who could break a locking spell and the fact that they had heard nothing was their own fault. They had cast that silencing charm for a reason and it had worked against them. She was swiftly up on her feet, to spare Remus some amount of his privacy, even though it was painfully apparent what had been going on.
McGonagall burst into the room, eyes wild. "There has been a break-in, Sirius Black is in the castle."
And it seemed luck was not on her side either, as Tonks felt her heart plummet.
Whimpering lightly at her touches, allowing her to take the tie and the buttons with no resistance whatsoever, he was completely at her mercy. He longed to repay her with his own touches, but he was too afraid, too afraid to taint her further than he already had, too afraid of getting too attached (it was already too late for that one), too afraid of whatever… this was.
“N-Never,” He muttered in response to her request to tell her to stop if he ever wanted her to stop. The fingers against him, her lips against the scars, it was all so exhilarating, addicting, amazing, and terrifying at the same time. However, suddenly as she had made for his scars, she suddenly pulled back, looking at him like – he wasn’t sure.
Had she figured it out? He looked at her with terror in his eyes, hoping that wasn’t the case, but also secretly wishing she did figure it out so he didn’t need to be so deceitful to her any longer, so he wouldn’t be using her like he was right now. He could have sworn she was about to say his name when –
Suddenly the door burst open and his eyes widened. Tonks was off in an instant, which he thanked internally as McGonagall burst in. His face was red and he was staring at her with embarrassment, knowing what she must be thinking. And then the words out of her mouth made his heart rate skyrocket not from the feeling of excitement but that of anxiety. While he was off in here, doing… whatever this was, Sirius had broken into the castle. He should’ve been out there – they could’ve caught him. But they were distracted by this… thing between the two of them. He felt like a bastard, he should’ve been there… this was all his fault…
“On my way.” He quickly got up, buttoning his shirt up and scooping up his tie to tighten it on his neck as he made his way out of the office, not even sparing Tonks a glance.
