It was near lunch time and since she had a free period before it she took it upon herself to go to the kitchens and whip up herself and Remus something to eat. It had been a long time since they had done nearly anything together, so she was taking it upon herself to insert as much brother-sister bonding time she could, knowing Remus wouldn't actively seek it. Much to the chagrin of the house elves who gave her the evil eye and she (quite literally stole) put together a nice lunch of roast chicken, some rice, fresh steamed veggies and really anything else that looked good on a tray; along with a chocolate cake - cause god damn it; her brother had gotten her quite addicted to chocolate, which was terrible for her figure. But alas there was the remnants of the Beauxbatons training on her again. She grabbed the tray (which was entirely too heavy, but she was going to make do), two steins and a jug of pumpkin juice and took herself out of the kitchens before the House Elves hexed her.
Luckily for her, his office was only two very erratic moving staircases up, she managed to make it with only one scare when the second-floor staircase moved just as she had stepped onto it. She entered the office, finding him absent for the moment and setting the tray, juice and steins down she made herself comfortable in his chair. He would probably return soon. He had left his door open, after all. She spun around in it a couple of times before her eyes fell on the wastebasket near his desk. She rose a brow. There was a ball of crumpled up the paper which looked suspiciously like letter writing parchment and she took another glance at his door. Flying for the wastebasket she fished the paper out and smoothed it out on the desk. Taking a moment to read the short note.
Within seconds she had teared up again and quickly looked at the door again, still safe, she folded up the paper and stuffed it into her pocket. She would send that with her next letter as well. Mom was going to be so happy. She grinned, taking a seat back in his chair and started spinning again, a stupid smile on her face.
After class had finished just before lunch, he had gone to talk to Dumbledore for a short time, apologizing for how unprofessional he had been before with the young Willow Fey, though Dumbledore seemed to understand and told him he needn’t worry about it. The walk back down to his office was a slow one, though it seemed to go fairly fast. He hadn’t really planned to eat much for lunch and had a small bowl of soup he had kept under a refrigeration spell in a cabinet. However, when he was near the door to his office, he could smell the food inside. Oh no, did Sirius Black do this? Was he attempting to poison him? Gryffindors weren’t usually the type to resort to that, but then again Gryffindors didn’t tend to betray their friends like he did.
He opened the door and stood in the doorway, leaning against the frame as he saw Rose sitting there in his seat and he watched her with an amused look. “What’s the special occasion?” He crossed his arms with a cute little waggle of his mustache and then walked in, taking a seat across from her in his visitor’s seat. “You know its very inappropriate to take a professor’s seat.” Despite his words, he was obviously joking, chuckling softly.
“You know, I’ll feel bad if I got you hooked on chocolate and it ruins your figure.” A bit more serious but also still joking lightly. He looked at all the food and was wondering how they were going to eat all of this, as he didn’t have that big of an appetite to begin with, probably because the past several years of having little money to buy food with despite the ability to multiply food. Chocolate was his primary source of food and that wasn’t very healthy.

The chair squeaked to a halt as she stopped facing him, leaning forward and resting her elbows on the desk, clasping her hands in front of her in mock imitation of him. You know what the say? Imitation is the highest form of flattery, especially when it's your cute baby sister doing it.
"Well, Mr Lupin," she was even taking a 'professor tone' with him, just to add on the act. "The special occasion is us, of course."
She then smirked, "well it's a good thing you're not the professor at this moment, and I am. And on this, my first day, I assign you to eat your lunch."
She couldn't keep it up any longer and dissolved into giggles. "A none of the cake until you finished your plate. I'm not kidding."
With that said, she placed a very light portion of a little bit of everything she had managed to grab in front of him before pours each of them a glass of the juice. She took her juice first, before going in and making her own plate.
"Well, it is entirely your fault, Remus, I will admit that. But, what's a little indulgence now and then?"
He smirked at her and leaned back in his chair with a bored expression. “But professor! What will happen if I don’t? Will I fail? Can you please bump up my marks?” He was doing an impression of the most annoying type of student, though he enjoyed all types of students of course. “That’s so much work!”
His eyes had fallen on the chocolate cake of course, his eyes filling with hunger and desire, much like one might see a lover have when intimate with someone. His love was chocolate and he was hoping to have a very intimate relationship with that cake. Meaning shoving it in his mouth until he melts. “Well, at least I’ve been able to teach you the finer points of food. You do have good taste.” He looked at the plate, his stomach turning slightly at how much it looked like to him, who barely tended to eat anything.
“Can’t I have just a little bit to start with?” He reaches a fork out to the cake with a teasing smile on his face, though he was hoping he could sneak one bite in before she stopped him. Perhaps someone should stage an intervention. This chocolate addiction was getting to be too much.

She snorted a laugh and slapped his hand away from the cake. "Fine, but you have to have a little bit of everything."
Perhaps she was mothering him at this point, but she honestly couldn't help it. She had perhaps gotten the instinct from Molly Weasley, who said everyone looked far too skinny, especially her. Well, in this case, it was most definitely Remus. "If I know you, and if your addiction is any way similar to mine, you will need, to eat your lunch."
She smiled at him gently and showed her own restraint by taking a fork full of chicken and rice and put it into her mouth. Swallowing, she looked at him expectantly to do the same.
Remus chortled at the whole scenario before he looked at his plate and then at Rose again. She was just looking after him and he knew he needed to eat more, and something that wasn’t chocolate more. It was a wonder how he was functioning on his mostly chocolate diet, but again, he didn’t even eat a lot of it. He didn’t really have the money to buy himself chocolate, and unlike when he was as student, he felt bad for taking from the kitchens when it wasn’t necessary. That was why he had a bowl of soup that was half eaten under a preservation spell that he had planned to eat for lunch.
“Alright, alright, Mom,” He teased picking up a bit of the steamed vegetables and twirling the fork around a little bit, glancing up at her. Regardless of what he had trained his stomach to do, it was best for him to eat something healthy from time to time and so, with that thought in his head he nibbled on the vegetables, only talking when his mouth had no food within it any longer. After all speaking while eating was fairly rude.
“You know, I’m not a kid anymore. I can take care of myself.” Despite the words he was still grinning going for another forkful of food, this time the roasted chicken. As a werewolf he found himself attracted to meats ever since his transformation more than before. Then again, he was five, and one could think it was his taste buds, but Remus knew it had something to do with the fact he was a werewolf from the research he had done regarding others who were also afflicted. “Now, you,” He wandless makes the chocolate cake move towards him a bit more. “Are still young and you shouldn’t be eating so much chocolate. I guess I’ll have to eat this whole thing myself.”

She beamed at him as he took in a mouth full of food, feeling fairly proud of herself. To be honest, meats were much more appetizing than anything else, but to keep up a normal appearance she delighted into other things, fruits, vegetables, bread; but she always focused on the meat. It was a shame she could never request for the meats to be cooked a little bit rarer than usual, but she took what she could get. "You could've fooled me," she said, and then took another bite of food.
When the cake shifted closer to him, she countered him by shoving it back physically.
"Iiii don't think so," she said, still grinning. "Unlike you, I have a balanced diet and I can eat all the cake I want."
The chicken was very good, though he wished it were a bit rarer, and once he thought that he mentally slapped himself. While he preferred his meats rare, he always hated that fact and tended to eat meat like a normal person would, as it was a way to try to trick himself into feeling normal for once. He longed to be just like everyone else, even if it meant giving up what little he had. To feel accepted and loved. He did a lot of things he normally wouldn’t do in order to feel loved.
“No way. Don’t make me tell your mother. I’m sure she’d agree with me. You’re a growing girl and too much chocolate is no good for you.” He was obviously joking when he said this taking another bite of his chicken and taking a small portion of the rice. Sneaking a forkful of cake in, he quickly savored the taste and then gave Rose a cocky sort of grin. “Father, I’m sure, would also agree with me. Growing girls need to watch what they eat so they grow up big and strong.” He was teasing her completely based on her age and how she acted. Of course, he did agree he needed to eat more healthy food, but that wasn’t the point here. The point was to tease her.

"Tell mother, I dare you," she gave him a challenging grin.
"Hey!" she said when he stole a forkful of cake. "How dare you! we were supposed to share that!"
she gave him a sort of fake pout, pretending as though she were upset. "And father probably would, and then also steal the cake for himself. Because you know. This is a family thing."
She giggled, finally just stealing a forkful of cake for herself, then, a devious glint appeared in her eyes, in one swift move she had dipped her finger into the icing and swiped his nose with the same finger and then licked the remnants off her finger, eyeing Remus still with a mischevious glint.
"So where do you typically go for, you know? I'm not asking to join you, but so I can come patch you up in the morning."
She gave him a kind smile. It was true, though she linged to join him, it would be enough for her to be there the morning after with some pepper up potion and some breakfast even.
“You have a point. Let us not bring Father into this, yes? There would be no cake left over for either of us.” Remus chuckled, a devious smirk on his face just as she hit him with the chocolate. He licked his nose – or attempted to before wiping the chocolate off and licking his fingers clean.
He used his clean hand to scoop up some chocolate before sliding it across her cheek, effectively beating her at her own game… temporarily. If he knew her, she’d find a way to one up him in this contest – and if she did… more chocolate for him.
“Well, for the night I tend to still go to the shack, just in case. It wouldn’t do well for someone to walk in on me in my office, yes? After I use the passage and end up back in my office. Luckily I haven’t had any night too bad yet, but Severus is on call just in case I need a substitute.”
He understood why she wanted to know, and he trusted that she wouldn’t force spending the moon together on him. When it came to things like that, she usually understood where he was coming from even if she didn’t agree, and respected his opinion and wishes. “If you bring breakfast, make sure to bring some bacon.” He teased taking a bite full of the cake chewing the chocolate, savoring the taste. There was only one thing in the world he liked tasting more than this, and at this point he wouldn’t admit what that other thing he preferred more was.

She snickered, watching as he attempted to lick the chocolate off his nose, shaking her head, but then sticky frosting was smeared across her check. "Hey!"
She gave him a playful glare, he'd won this round, she thought, as she wiped the frosting off her cheek with her thumb; there was probably still some there, but she would get that later. She didn't want this to turn into an all-out war and have to return to Ravenclaw tower covered in chocolate cake.
'Oh, I had a food fight with Professor Lupin!' her classmates would stare at her like she was nuts. Also, the whole fact that he didn't want everyone to know he was her brother... though, she was sure that was going to be the first secret to be discovered.
She nodded enthusiastically, "passage eh? One of your secret Marauder passages?" If that was the case then she was sure of which one he was referring to. Perfect. She could go by the Hospital Wing and the kitchens, and be down there by sunrise easily.
Thaaaaaaaaat said, she sing-songed to herself. "How are you and Tonks' doing? Any more hallway trysts I should know about?"
“You missed some.” He wipes it off her cheek and licks his fingers with a hum. Even if that would be considered gross to some, it was chocolate and he wouldn’t let it go to waste. Plus they were siblings, it wasn’t that weird… right.
However, he understood why she didn’t retaliate, though it would’ve been fairly fun. After all, if people found out they were related… some of those who had found out might start trying to connect dots and find him out too. He just was extremely afraid of being found out.
“Yes, yes it is.” He grins and then lets the conversation drop because what she said next completely distracted him from concentrating on that any longer.
He had just take a drink of the pumpkin juice when she asked as well, and he nearly spit out his drink (luckily, he didn’t, though a little bit when up his nose from the shock). Coughing a bit, he quickly wiped his mouth and looked at her with the reddest face imaginable. “N-No! Th-That was nothing. There’s nothing between us. I haven’t – I haven’t seen her since and I don’t plan to see her again like that. You know what happens to people like us if we try something like that. She’s young and whole, I don’t want to drag her down with me.”

She grinned as he confirmed it was the passageways she had seen on the map, that would be perfect. She rubbed at her cheek, blushing slightly. The action hadn't been weird, but she still wasn't used to the affection, having been separated from it for however long. She was still smiling though, as her eyebrow raised as he grew completely flustered at her last question.
"Nothing, huh? Whatever."
She didn't believe a word of it, as she glanced at him from the corner of her eyes, continuing to eat her lunch - and then suddenly her face shifted to a look of pain and she looked down at the watch on her wrist.
"Augh! Really?" she huffed a sigh and went for her bookbag, pulling out a small potion bottle and downing the contents of it.
"Jeez, skip it for two days and it burns the shit out of me..."
“Yes, nothing.” Thou doth protest too much, Remus.
However, luckily the subject changed very quickly as she looked at a watch on her wrist. Curious. Normally wizards tended to get watches for their seventeenth birthday, but she wasn’t seventeen yet, and that watch looked different than others he had seen. He looks at his own watch he had gotten on his birthday and then looks at her. Maybe there was an alarm.
“Burns? Is it an alarm?” Honestly, as someone who was not used to taking his potion, something like that would be fairly smart for him to have. He wondered exactly how it worked, and if it was attuned to the potion or not – such as could she simply press a button and it went away, or did it sense the potion that she drank. Luckily, he had already drank his share for the day.
“Maybe you could just take it off if it burns too much.” Though, if it was an alarm for the potions, he wouldn’t suggest that. Because those potions were essentially their freedom.

Again, another roll of her eyes, but she wasn't pushing it.
"Can't take it off. It's magically bound to me," she smiled, his interest was peaked. Excellent. It would be soon before he would get it own. "It burns because it's made of silver - and when I don't have enough wolfsbane in my system, well. You know what silver does to our kind, right?" It had cooled off now, thankfully. "It was just reminding me that I've been lazy."
She gave a giggle. "I wish I could tell you that that was the first time it's burned me, but I've gotten so dissolved into my studies it's gotten me good once or twice."
She shook the sleeve of her robe up and pulled the watch as far down her wrist as possible to show the light scarring. Her lips quirked, "even I can't run unscathed."
She sighed, "I have one for you but... if put on prematurely; without enough of the potion in you... well, it won't be pretty."
